Try Try Try Again: Lessons In Not Getting It Right The First Time

IMG_1119 2.jpg

The first lesson is that: Not getting it right the first time is reality!

And if at first you don't succeed
Then dust yourself off and try again
You can dust it off and try again
'Cause if at first you don't succeed
You can dust it off and try again
Dust yourself off and try again

A little throwback to Aaliyah's 2001 hit, gives me immediate feels because I'm about to "Try Again". This is the song I have found myself singing as I sit down with my seam ripper and what I was hoping would be the last sample suit.

Trying. AGAIN.

After being about eight samples deep in a couple different style swimsuits I noticed a MAJOR flaw in the way a few of the suits were fitting. Its nothing major to the design, its not like im going all the way back to square one. The issue is a simple fix but one that has required me to take apart the entire last sample that was made. Sometimes when you think you are ready and set to go head with final products you have to do a few more quality control test to get it right. And well, if its not right IT'S FRUSTRATING!!! But I'm happy to have figured out the issues now and not on what I would have thought here final designs.

The most important take away is that; this is all apart of the process, and I'm sure there will be more hiccups along the way.... and that's OK!

We figure it out, we readjust and we correct!

(Try Again fades out in the background)

Now this song will be stuck in my head for the rest of the rest of the day, and I will use it as motivation.
