As if a woman, once she embraces her gender has to comply with the pertaining gender roles. As if a woman needs to choose between career and children. As if a woman needs to choose between successful relationships and their businesses. As if a woman needs to choose between strength over form. Ultimately, what makes a woman are her choices, but the options are what makes a society.

March 8th was International Women's Day and I teamed up with ALALA a brand I have work with a number of times and whose activewear I love. However, this time was for a different reason. I have joined them for their "Legalize Equality" campainge that is commitment to ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) and adding gender equality to the U.S. Constitution.

It is high time that we redefine what strength is as a woman, and what we will tolerate. Join me in the movement to in adding gender equality to the U.S. Constitution

By purchasing a "Legalize Equality" sweatshirt, shirt, or bag a portion of the proceeds will benefit Equal Means Equal, an inclusive, non-partisan, diverse organization leading the charge to address this systemic and institutional crisis.
